A HALF CENTURY AT THE ENVIRONMENTAL FOREFRONT

Princeton University has been at the forefront of environmental research for more than half a century, leading breakthroughs on climate mapping, energy efficiency, and biodiversity, to address some of humanity's toughest problems.

In recognition of the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day, Talking Eyes was commissioned to showcase the work of some of the university's preeminent scientists, who have dedicated their careers to advancing the field. From the first mathematical models of earth's atmosphere to researching carbon trapped in two million-year-old ice, these researchers are unlocking the complexities of our planet while grappling with humankind’s impact. The film is a call to action across all sectors to combat climate change using science, technology and informed decision making.
